Recorded at Crown Lane studios, Our House studio in Kingston upon Thames, Martin Neil’s Lovely boy studio in Northumberland and Russ’s Lounge Productions Studio, this album includes 12 of the songs from the Three Point Turn and Great Escape [2] set lists. Most of these songs stay close to the original arrangements while some have developed with the addition of new ideas that emerged from the collaboration with the excellent and creative people taking part in the recording. No tape was harmed during the making of the album. The CD was manufactured by a carbon zero company; which we think involves planting trees and killing cattle to stop them emitting carbon dioxide [but we're not sure about that second bit].

‘Ever since we did our first show in East Sheen in the early Eighties as a support band and later when recording the single [7” vinyl at 45 rpm] with Word Records in 1984 I have wanted to record the songs and make them available to those people who asked to “buy a copy of your album please” at the many live shows up and down the land. Well here it is at last and I think you’re going to like it! Now if I could just remember where I put all your addresses…’
